We were the first commercial manufacturer to be fully CARB compliant (two full years before it was mandated by law). We use eco-friendly materials with FSC certification, and reduce water and waste in manufacturing processes, such as reusing wood scraps and sawdust for energy. Fairmont Designs takes measures where possible to increase the use of raw materials from recycling processes or waste, while we also limit energy consumption or use energy from renewable energy sources. Our facilities make sure to reduce water use from sources that are scarce or where related ecosystems or habitats can be significantly affected. Fairmont Designs ensures that its presence and activities have no or as few adverse effects as possible on the biodiversity in the surrounding environment.
